DEMOBAZA LIFE

Since the pandemic, two Bulgarian light beings have walked beside me & supercharged my life. Textures and fabrics, layer on layer, with intention and skill, have altered the way I interact with the world as I travel and select my music. Endless layers, finesse, range.

So the soundtracks mirror it. Sounds that build into something out of the norm for every collection. Immersive. Usually a co-creation. Noraj Cue, Ricardo Kondo, Haximum, Zohar, Ape Chimba: thank you beyond what this post would allow. You give these soundscapes life and my studio a pulse. This is my tribe. We experiment. Eternally grateful.

The feel is interplanetary and empowering. Threads from the future, superhero stuff. But the real gift is quieter. Their armour has held me while I was still figuring out who I was becoming. It let me walk into the world without a guard up. Demo, Tono, Alex and the whole Demo Family in Sofia, I owe you a great debt of gratitude.

We try to place moments of silence between sounds to give each element space to breathe and thrive. Silence is a tool, a pause that elevates the experience with the return of sound. Working on DEMOBAZA scores has deepened my appreciation for silence, inspiring me to explore a creative world where ambient and neo classical wonderlands sparked the creation of ABOVE.

My creative process focuses on eliminating rather than adding, embracing addition by subtraction.
